The Withdraw Cash Wednesday (WCW) campaign is designed to promote consumer cash usage by reminding consumers to withdraw cash from the ATM every Wednesday for their weekend endeavors. Backed by ATMIA, the campaign is designed to promote cash use to:

  • Foster financial inclusion across all socioeconomic groups
  • Help consumers spend smarter, manage debt and save money
  • Drive ATM use and grow transaction volume
  • Combat the war to eliminate cash being waged by some electronic payment entities

Our Goal: To Protect cash and consumer choice for years to come.

Withdraw Cash Wednesday's goal is to communicate the many benefits of cash, while combating the negative press cash has received over the last few years to ensure consumers have cash as a payment choice for years to come. Say No to Interest Rates

Cash is a great way to budget during the holidays. Consumers only spend what they have with cash in hand and not overspend.

Consumers save on interest. By not putting it on their credit card, the average consumer saves money in interest.
